Random Stuff

Here is some unclassified stuff. This first one is an attempt I did at making a book cover for Ed's book he was always talking about writing. This is the same Ed who came up with the characters for my first novel, and was my photography and poker partner. Some of these thematic elements ended up in my second novel.

This is a picture of Ed, from when I was trying to use Photoshop to make a graphic novel. Making a graphic novel is my oldest and most failed artistic dream. I just can't draw for shit, and never found an illustrator to work with.

This is a movie poster I made for a movie that got destroyed. We shot it in UPN, amidst the amazing array of sci-fi looking equipment. But the camera was loaded wrong, the film was ruined, and the next day the place was torn down.

Still, I love this poster. This disk was meant to be a Dear John letter delivered to the only person living on Mars, who had to chose between emulating the perfect loyalty of robots or going home. The idea came from the guy who eventually did the soundtrack for Night Things.

I was obsessed with getting the perfect lipstick kiss for this. I'd recently met a woman named Toika from Facebook and had her over, and was making her kiss paper after paper with this electric blue lipstick from Europe. Somehow we got to talking about crazy things we'd done and she said, "Well I once went to a house to meet this strange guy I barely knew, and he kept me trapped kissing paper all day."
